QP expands manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China.
QP Group has recently expanded its' production facility at Dongguan Zensee Printing Ltd. in China. The total production area has increased to 550,000 square feet, nearly doubles its previous size.
The expansion includes the building of a 6-storey wing adjacent to the main facility where some of the production processes will be relocated. The expansion will significantly enhance the production capabilities of QP, not only in terms of volume but also in its ability to meet customer expectations.
New facilities added to the plant include two new 4-color printing presses and a playing card production line are already in service. An automatic game board line will also be installed soon. Additionally, the newly developed CTCP system will be incorporated into the digital workflow.
QP started its production plant in Dongguan, China in 1990. Through development in several phases, it has grown from a 60,000 square foot factory to become its present size today. The recent expansion has been the largest so far reflecting the continuous growth in business.
To capitalize on its current momentum, QP is also opening a new factory in Tianjin, China to focus on the product packaging business. It will be ready for operation by January 2006.
